ACCUMULATION OF HEAVY METALS IN RED BEETS (BETA VULGARIS L.) IN HOUSEHOLDS FROM THE COPȘA MICĂ AREA

This study shows the accumulation of heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Zn and Cu) from soil in roots beetroot (Beta Vulgaris L.) individual gardens polluted area CopșaMică.The estimation metal grown affected by historical pollution was carried out based on a data set collected 18 households. The content ranged for Cd between 0.52 mg/kg-1 19.52 mg/kg-1, Pb had values 19 to 530 28 112 Cu 150 1136 mg/kg-1. concentration cadmium (Cd) root red beet varied 0.015 0.568 lead (Pb) copper (Cu) registered 0.019 0.198 respectively 0.49 mg/kg-1and 2.01 mg/kg-1.Zinc 3.5 10.4 It is noted that (r=0,839***), (r=0,667**) zinc (r=0,624**) linear correlation coefficient differ significantly zero indicating close dependence considered variables. In case (r=0,213ns), value does not zero, which requires use another stochastic model describe this beetroot.
